Simply Irrysistable

Yes, you read that correctly, and no, I did not spell it wrong.  I’m referring to my friend, and fellow artisan, Tammy Jones, owner of Irrysistable Jewels.  Tammy makes jewelry, too, but lately she has ventured into new waters.  She’s quickly becoming an extremely talented polymer clay sculptor.

Initially, Tammy made flower jewelry with the clay. These pieces are beautiful, and she has a great eye for capturing lifelike details.

Recently, Tammy has begun creating animals with polymer clay.  Once again, her eye for detail has enabled her to create beautiful lifelike sculptures.  I was lucky enough to be one of Tammy’s first customers for her custom pet sculpture line.   I provided Tammy with photos of my beautiful cat Rocky (1997-2010) who passed away in 2010 due to stomach cancer.  I say “my cat”, but he was more my husband’s cat, and this sculpture will be a present to him – next month will mark the two year anniversary of Rocky’s passing.  Once provided with the picture, Tammy went to work! In less than a week, I had my statuette in hand!

Isn’t he gorgeous????  Check out Tammy’s Etsy store, where you can find her listing to purchase a custom pet sculpture! Oh, and by the way, if you see my husband, don’t let the “cat out of the bag!”  This is a surprise!!!
